Lucerne Carnival 2026: It was absolutely fantastic!

The 2026 Lucerne Carnival was once again a resounding success for the Hotel Waldstätterhof Lucerne. As a hotel located right in the heart of Lucerne, we were delighted to welcome numerous carnival-goers and offer them the perfect accommodation right in the thick of the action.

A special highlight was our first stand on the terrace by Track 1. Right after the morning parade, we served up freshly grilled sausages and cold beer to the hungry carnival-goers—a first for us, and we had a great time doing it.

We were also happy to host Guggenmusik groups again this year. Ten different groups enjoyed breakfast, lunch, or dinner with us this year. To put it in Lucerne dialect, that makes us really happy.

We would like to thank all our guests, Guggenmusik bands, and Carnival fans for the fantastic atmosphere, and we are already looking forward to the 2027 Lucerne Carnival.
