On Friday, May 8, 2026, the Gleis 1 restaurant in Lucerne served as the venue for a very special evening: Our first Flying Dinner brought together fine dining, music, and a relaxed atmosphere in a unique way, and we can safely say it was a resounding success.

Once again this year, our team’s motto was: lace up your running shoes and head to the starting line together! At the recent Lucerne City Run, we showed up full of motivation, team spirit, and good cheer.

The 2026 Lucerne Carnival was once again a resounding success for the Hotel Waldstätterhof Lucerne. As a hotel located right in the heart of Lucerne, we were delighted to welcome numerous carnival-goers and offer them the perfect accommodation right in the thick of the action.

Instead of organizing a Christmas dinner during the already hectic month of December, we have a tradition of waiting until January to celebrate the end of the year together. It’s a moment to pause, come together as a team, and toast to the new year.

Together with The Runners Club Lucerne, we organized a special long run to prepare for the SwissCityMarathon – Lucerne, featuring an active morning full of motivation and a delightful conclusion at Restaurant Gleis 1.
