With the start of the new training year, we at the Hotel Waldstätterhof Lucerne are pleased to welcome several new faces to our team. We are very excited to support four dedicated trainees on their training journey and to provide them with an exciting and varied insight into the hotel and restaurant industry.
In the photo, taken with our apprentice supervisor Rico, you can see:
Alena – She is starting her apprenticeship as a hotel communications specialist and will gain experience in various departments of our hotel. Communication, organization, and daily interaction with our guests are among the exciting aspects of her training.
Kiril – As he begins his training as a chef, a varied and exciting time awaits him in our kitchen. Creativity, technical skill, and a love of good food are key ingredients in his training journey.
André – He’s training with us to become a restaurant specialist. Providing personalized service, advising our guests, and working in the restaurant make his training particularly varied.
Sabrina isn’t in the photo, but she’s also part of our training program. She’s been working with us as an assistant governess for over a year now and is therefore very familiar with the Waldstätterhof. She is now beginning her training as a hospitality and housekeeping specialist and will build on her previous experience with a solid vocational education.
For us, a good education is much more than just imparting specialized knowledge. We want to give our apprentices the opportunity to take on responsibility, gain practical experience, and discover and develop their personal strengths.
They are supported in this by our experienced staff and our apprentice mentor, Rico. Together, we want to create an environment where young talents feel at home, are encouraged to ask questions, and can gradually grow into the professional world.
We are very excited to support Alena, Kiril, André, and Sabrina on their educational journey, to witness their growth, and to shape the coming years together with them. 💚
Are you also interested in an apprenticeship in the hospitality industry in Lucerne and would like to start your career at a diverse hotel? Then it’s worth getting to know the Waldstätterhof. Maybe you’ll be part of our team before you know it!
