Sustainability Certificate: ibex fairstay gold

A milestone for our company

We are very pleased to share some exciting news: The Hotel Waldstätterhof Luzern, including the Gleis 1 restaurant, has been awarded the ibex fairstay gold label.

The process leading up to this was intensive and meticulous: In August, we submitted all the necessary documents, and in September, the audit took place right here at our office. In November, we finally received the good news, and last week we celebrated this milestone together with our team at a small ibex reception.

After receiving a Silver award in 2023, advancing to Gold in this year’s recertification represents significant progress for us and a clear sign of our ongoing development.

What does "ibex fairstay" mean?

ibex fairstay supports and certifies businesses on their path toward sustainable and responsible corporate management. The assessment is based on five dimensions: management, ecology, regional roots, social balance, and finance & performance.
Based on a comprehensive list of measures, detailed analyses, and calculations, businesses are awarded Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum certification.

We are particularly proud of our five out of five scores in the areas of management quality, social responsibility, and finance & performance. For us, this award is not only a cause for celebration but also an incentive. Sustainability is an ongoing process, and we remain committed to it.
