As the days grow longer and the first warm rays of sunshine bathe Lucerne in a new light, spring arrives here as well—and with it, a new, creative menu at Restaurant Gleis 1. Starting April 8, we invite you to experience the fresh, light flavors of the season with all your senses during our evening service.

Chef's Recommendations

We would especially like to recommend a few particular highlights to you:

  • Homemade black tagliatelle (
    ) with wild garlic pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, pickled onions, and Fette Berta cheese —rich, aromatic, and the perfect taste of spring
  • Whole "Butterfly" rainbow trout
    served with buttermilk, romaine lettuce, rhubarb, wild garlic, and potatoes—a light yet sophisticated fish dish
  • Beef Maultaschen
