Future Day 2025

On National Career Day, we welcomed eight curious children to the Hotel Waldstätterhof and Restaurant Gleis 1, where they spent the day learning about exciting careers in the hotel and restaurant industry.

Our team has put together a varied and practical program:

• Discovering Mistakes in a Hotel Room with Sabrina, Assistant Housekeeper
• Check in like a pro at the front desk with Rico, receptionist and vocational trainer
• Mix your own mocktail at the bar with Petar, the head bartender
• Setting the Table & Folding Napkins with Azmara, Chef de Service
• Folding towel animals with Rico, receptionist and vocational trainer
• Topping a Pizza with Ji-Min, Apprentice Chef (EFZ)

The children enthusiastically tried everything and gained a real insight into what makes the hospitality industry so special. A big thank you to our wonderful team for inspiring the next generation of hosts and hostesses!
