
Together with The Runners Club Lucerne, we organized a special long run to prepare for the SwissCityMarathon – Lucerne, featuring an active morning full of motivation and a delightful conclusion at Restaurant Gleis 1.
After the run around the Horw Peninsula, led by top triathlete Jan van Berkel, who supported the participants with valuable tips and extra motivation, the culinary highlight of the day awaited them at Platform 1.
Our restaurant was packed to capacity: at several food stations, the runners could refuel with tender meat, creamy risotto, and homemade ravioli until their bellies were full and their energy was replenished.
The atmosphere was lively, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive—an afternoon full of energy, team spirit, and enjoyment.
A heartfelt thank you to the women of The Runners Club Lucerne and, of course, to all the participants and the entire team at Restaurant Gleis 1. Together, on October 18, we created an event that leaves us wanting more.
